Day Four:

You wake up talking to Debbie, she asks you to go and check the Antenna location, as they are having HUGE communication issues. And you need to go and talk to Chase.

Lets get to it. Lets go see what Chase wants.

Task #14 – Fix Transmission. SPOILER: FIX TRANSMISSION– PUZZLE #14
Chase needs some help putting the transmission back together. All you need to do is put the gears back on 3 horizontal rods. There’s a notch for each gear, so you will need to figure out which size gear goes to which notch. Be sure that the gears line up vertically so they touch but don’t overlap each other. (In my opinion – this is the 2nd hardest puzzle in this case)

To do this puzzle you need to select a colored gear from the left side of the screen and place it on to the notches, there are 5 notches on the bottom rod, 4 notches on the middle rod and 5 notches on the top rod. You can click the start button to see if you have all the gears in the right place as many times as you need to. HINT: Be sure to put on the gears from the back to front and from large to small so all gears slide on and off the rods in the correct order.

Once all the gears are in the correct order, click on the little (start) button on the middle left of the screen that has a little picture of a gear with an arrow over top of it. Once you click on that button and all the gears are placed properly then Chase will ask you to do something else for him. He needs you to run an estimate for the bodywork that needs to be done on Pete’s car over to Scott. Click on it to put it into your inventory.

Go see Scott, talk with him and give him the estimate. Then you hear Frosty’s little girl scream. He tells you to go down there and find out what the problem is.
Go down and talk to Frosty, he screams again before you get there. Seems he is a little afraid of mice, and asks you to get rid of the mice in the cellar.

Task #15 – Capture mice in Frosty’s Office. SPOILER: SCOTT’S MICE– PUZZLE #10 (This is also for puzzle's #15, #17, #19) You need to look for the little corn pile, which is on the floor next to the dryer. Click on that area and you will get a close up of the floor in which to set the mousetrap. Click your inventory to place the mousetrap on the floor. Check your inventory and see if you have any cheese, if not go to Ma & Pa’s and buy some more cheese with Pa Pennies and then proceed with catching the mice. Again you will see a grocery bag at the top left corner of the screen, click on it to open it and select the cheese. Place the cheese in the trap and once again that little mouse will come and sniff the bait and goes inside, you will then be moved to the puzzle scene. HINT: You cannot fail this puzzle you will just need to be patient to solve it.
Nancy said before that she needs to be sure to fill all of the traps. This trap is a little bigger than the one you did for Scott but the same rules apply. You will see that each section is divided to little squares, the lines that separate the squares are doors and you can click on them to trap the mice into each section. HINT: Work from the back forward. Don’t forget to click on the center “bridge” to turn it to fill the other spaces. Just remember to turn it back or the mice will have nowhere to go. When you get all the mice in each space then it will automatically close up and you can then take the cage by clicking on it to add it to you inventory.
Once all the mice are caught, take them and dump them at the Spring House on Old Orchard Road.
So lets hop in the car and drive to the springhouse. If you remember how to get there you can drive there without the use of the GPS, if you don’t remember you can open the GPS and navigate there. Once you get to the springhouse, approach the door, then open your inventory and select the mousetrap. Click on the ground in front of the springhouse door and the mice will scurry under the door. Now you can go back to the Farmhouse, task #15 is done!

Now lets go and check the communication problems and drive to the Antennas. Hop in the car and drive to the Antennas. This should be a new option for a destination on the GPS, open it and navigate there.

Task #16 – Fix Antennas. SPOILER: FIX ANTENNAS– PUZZLE #16
So Nancy says that the wind blew pieces of the Antennas all over. It is up to you to put the pieces where they belong. You must connect each piece of the antenna on the ground and placing it so that it fits on the proper place to on the Antenna.

You will need to rotate the pieces at times in order to make them fit properly. Do this by clicking on the piece you want to pick up and then right click to rotate, then you can place it on the correct spot on the Antenna. HINT: There are 2 antennas so some of the pieces will go on the one in the back as well.

Once you get all the pieces on the antenna, Nancy asks, “What’s that?” It goes to a close up of a small pink key on the ground under the antenna, click on it to look at it, and click again to put it into your inventory.

Great job!

Uh-Oh, a storm is moving in, you watch, as the clouds get darker and darker. Nancy says, “I need to get out of here.” She starts her car and you are on the road. There is hail and a cloud that is in the way of the route you need to use to get back to the farmhouse. Even more irritating the GPS unit that is supposed to get you safely back is on the fritz, like its trying to get you to go into the storm. If you drive into the hail or the cloud you will crash and that wont be good, so you will have to use an alternate route to get back to the farmhouse. You are going to have to ignore the GPS directions and look on the GPS map to find you an alternate route.

Once you are back to the farmhouse go and talk to Debbie. She tells you to trap the mice she sees by the end of the table. She also mentions that she will talk to Chase about the faulty GPS.

Task # 17 – Capture mice in Nancy’s Office. SPOILER: SCOTT’S MICE– PUZZLE #10 (This is also for puzzle's #15, 17, #19)- You need to look for the little corn pile, which is on the floor next to the filing cabinet (where you did your filing task at the beginning of the game) and trash can.

Once all the mice are caught, take them and dump them at the Spring House on Old Orchard Road.

Debbie will tell you that it is time to go to bed, but go ahead and take them to the springhouse anyway.

Now you can go back to the Farmhouse, task #17 is done!

Before you go to bed, go downstairs and talk to Frosty about the footage. He tells you to look at the “broken” camera that he left upstairs.

Go upstairs and look at that camera that is on the coffee table in front of the couch. Click on it to pick it up, click on it again and the screen with open. Right below the camera screen there is a play button, stop button, rewind button, and fast forward button. Click on the play button (the single triangle). She says “But I fixed it…” Exit and the screen will close, exit again and Nancy will put the camera on the coffee table.

Now go back to the farmhouse and go to bed!

YOU HAVE JUST COMPLETED DAY 4!!! Great job!

Lets move on: Day Five
